Custom Ceramic Aroma Candle Gift Box as VIP Welcome Gift for Wellness Retreat in Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand
Overview – A Retreat's Vision of Calm Welcome
In early 2025, a prestigious international luxury wellness retreat group with flagship properties in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok sought to create a truly immersive welcome experience for their VIP guests. The retreat wanted a gift that would embody their commitment to mindfulness, nature, and holistic wellbeing – something that would set a tone of calm and intention from the moment of arrival. After reviewing several options, they selected our ceramic aroma candle gift box – drawn by its serene design, natural materials, and customisability. The initial order was 130 sets, each requiring engraving of the guest's name on the ceramic cup, the retreat's logo on the wood box, and a personalised wellness message.
Customisation and Cross-Cultural Design
Our team collaborated closely with the retreat's wellness director to create a gift that would reflect the retreat's brand identity. We proposed a jade-green ceramic cup with the guest's name elegantly engraved, a natural wood box with the retreat's logo, and a custom amber fragrance blend designed to promote relaxation. A meditation card and a welcome note were included. For the Kuala Lumpur property, we added a Malay mindfulness phrase; for Bangkok, Thai. Each set was presented with a personalised card from the retreat's founder and an invitation to a sunrise meditation and candle-lighting ceremony. Three master samples were produced and approved within 4 working days.
Production – Delivering 130 Sets in 5 Days
With the VIP arrival schedule fixed, we activated our local factory's accelerated production line. Each ceramic cup was inspected for glaze finish, each engraving applied with precision, and each set packed with care. Quality checks ensured flawless finishes and accurate personalisation. We completed production in exactly 5 days, utilising our ast bulk delivery capability. The sets were shipped via air freight to each property, arriving two days before the VIP check-ins.
Guest Reaction – A Gift That Captured the Spirit of Calm
VIP guests received their personalised aroma candle gift box during check-in, often accompanied by an invitation to the sunrise meditation. The reaction was deeply positive – guests were moved by the quality and the personalisation, with many sharing images on social media and praising the retreat's attention to detail. The retreat's post-stay survey reported a 99% satisfaction rate for the welcome gift, with many guests mentioning it as a key reason for their return intention.
Business Impact and Reorder – A Signature Mindfulness Amenity
The success of the campaign led the retreat group to adopt the ceramic aroma candle gift box as a permanent VIP welcome amenity. They placed a reorder corporate gift with new logo for the following year, with an updated design and a new scent profile. The order quantity increased to 210 sets, now including the group's new property in Phuket, Thailand, and a property in Bali, Indonesia. The sunrise meditation and candle-lighting ceremony has since become a signature wellness experience, further strengthening the retreat's reputation for mindful luxury.
